Quite fancy the genesis but it's twice the price of a full monty! Is it twice the bike though?

I got a full monty SL about a month ago and it's been great. Changed the wheels as the stock set were cast iron, but at the price you expect some bits to be cheaper.

Well, as it happens, I'm just in the process of swapping components from a croix de fer to a full monty SL frame. I just wanted something lighter. Be able to tell you the difference next week hopefully! Will also be able to sell you a croix de fer frame 😜

Took the full Monty out on it's inaugural ride this evening, couldn't be more pleased with it. It's significantly lighter than the croix de fer (I'll weigh it when I remember) feels so much more nimble and in terms of comfort it's almost like going from a hard tail to an FS, The knackered roads don't feel anywhere near as knackered! I'm running the same 32c gravel kings from the cdf, not set up tubeless yet. Looking forward to a big day out next week with a bit of luck.

Very happy with mine too, ended up forcing the sale of my hardtail as just wasn't getting used. Great bike at a stupid price.

If there is a croix de fer frame going in the right size I could be interested

There will be a frame going 😝

It's a large 2016 cdf 10 frame. This one

I just need to clean it up and find some appropriate packaging for posting it and it'll be going on ebay

@brant i’m looking at something similar and to be honest I’d love a space chicken, but I’m being a cheapass and using cycle2work which means I’m not getting a space chicken.

Would’ve been nice though.
