Hi folks. Can this be done and how would it be done? Would I have to drill out the cable stops to allow the cable outer to go all the way through? Rear changing isn't very crisp and I've tried everything else, so think it may be down to the cable routing, so giving this a try!

I've done exactly this on a couple of space chickens which are similar, just drilled out the stops and fed an outer through.

No issues, it was more to do with reduced maintenance I'm not keen on exposed inners. Shifting issues there's hanger alignment, jockey wheel play, chain wear to check as well as the inner cable moving smoothly could be any of those.
