Afternoon All

Dull question - anyone out there know if there is a spare for a bottom ACB bearing for an FSA integrated headset? Helpfully there is no number/serial on the bearing. The bike is a Trek 29er Superfly nd the headset's OE.

Keen not to spend £70 on a new headset if a bearing will do.

Many thanks

Paul

Have you taken the bearing out? The info is usually on the side, not on the seals for this type of bearing. You really need to measure it, but I'm going to say one of these will fit.

Racing snail - many thanks - i have taken the bearing out and had a visit to the LBS - the bearing is unmarked either externally or on the seal, whic has you might imagine is brilliantly helpful. The link takes us to one that looks very much like a Cane Creek notional 'standard,' but it's not as deep as the one that cane out, again, unhelpfully.

Thnking it's time for a new bottom cup, bearing & steerer crown.

Thanks again.

Paul

How deep does it need to be? 8mm here:

I'ma having a similar thing, IS52 seems to be not as 'standard' as the name 'international standard' implies!
