After a long period of taking things apart and putting them back together in an attempt to cure the headset loosening and knocking I found that my now 6 month old carbon cx frame wasn't supplied with the preload washer for the FSA integrated headset.
Having now bought a new headset to get the small piece of aluminium that is needed and tightening up etc etc the headset still works loose and knocks on braking within about 10 minutes riding. I shall be taking it apart again tonight but assuming that the frame cups aren't borked, what do people thinnk about the possible causes of this. At a minimum I'll be replacing the bearings.
Could it be time for a squirt of Loctite bearing adhesive - something like 641?
I'm a bit cheesed with the whole thing TBH.
