The reason I ask is that the XT double chainset is £50.00 more expensive and this will look bloody gorgeous on my bike compared to the non polished silver XT.
Anyone? I'm getting itchy finger on CRC.
Can't see why it wouldn't. Getting replacement rings might be a pita though?
I really wouldn't get that chainset, personally I think it looks horrible, but the main reason is getting replacement chainrings. Have you checked to see if they are easy to come by and for how much?

Replacement rings look hard to come by and that XT C/set is a very lovely price.
