[Closed] Front mech - shifting issues.

Bear with me on this one .....

I currently have a single front ring set up (Middleburn Uno).

I'm switching over to a Middlburn dual spider set up that has a middle and outer ring placing.

Now the type of mech I have doesn't seem happy starting and finishing at the middle ring.

The mech is a 9 sp XTR jobbie and looks like this:

I rectified a similar issue on another bike (Middleburn Duo setup) by changing mechs but this seems a bit OTT.

Can anyone advise?

I don't quite get the issue. You're changing to a duo spider but want the mech to start and finish on the middle ring ie single ring??

Apologies .... to clarify I need the mech to start from the middle ring position

Can you not set set the limit screw to stop in moving down to the lower unsed position?

As above... limit screw but use the first two posiitions on the shifter, ie, shifter thinks its in granny and middle...
