Got one of these. Can't get the ****er working right.

If you set the height so it doesn't rub the biggest rings teeth, then the chain rubs on the button of the mech when in the lower gear.

If you move the whole thing down a mm, then it hits the teeth on the big ring.

Anyone got any ideas before i smash the damn thing?

when the chain rubs the bottom of the mech, where is the chain on the cassette? if its not in the bottom 3ish (34 32 28 ) then it could just be that.

so what i am saying is are you trying to set it up with the chain in the smallest sprocket at the back?

What chainring sizes are you using?

44-32-22, don't think that's an unusual setup

Is your bike a full sus by any chance? If so then it's quite likely that when you weight the suspension the chain will clear the cage. Another thing to checkis that the chain isn't slack across the top, maybe due to a draggy freeehub.

Bend the cage a bit. I've found that tweaking the shape of the cage helps a lot in many cases.....

coatesy beat me to it! Often the case on full sus. Sag should sort that out. Also worth considering sag when you set the gap between the inside plate and the chain on middle ring and largest sprocket
