the old USE posts were prett narrow - anything narrower than that?

I was think BMX posts but they tend to be headless...

Thompson do 25.4 for BMX, no idea how long they are though. Plenty of BMX's still using saddles with rails (well I am anyway).

The reason I'm asking is that I've got a mini BMX (not mine...) with a 22mm seatpost and seat unit (combined unit) but I'm tempted to swap the seat to a railed version and thus need a 22mm post with a clamp.

I may end up DIYing it by cutting the 22mm post and mating it to an old USE clamp unit I have in the spares box....

Reggie, do a search for oldschool (oldskool) BMX seat post on ebay. There are generally some 22 or possibly 22.2mm Odyssey or Haro ones with a micro-adjust clamp on there.

There you go - http://sports.shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=haro+seat+post&_sacat=7294&_sop=10&_dmpt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&_odkw=odyssey+seat+post&_osacat=7294&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 - a few Haro ones on that page, they're 22.2mm though.
