That spring sounds interesting! On my formula MOD coil, the recommended spring rate is perfect for a lot of stuff, unfortunately, I have a penchant for big drops and jumps so I had to get a higher rated spring, still brilliant but not “plush” on some stuff…

Love the Peatys all weather lube, it’s all I use now along with the knurl grips 🙂

And I’m going to grab one of those bottle mounts, I could do with one that isn’t Fidlock!

Is it just me, or does anyone else scrolling past or briefly glimpsing a SRAM XO logo see an upside-down Shimano DX logo, circa early '90's?

Maybe I just need to get with the times.

That Madonna price looks very low, you should probably mention there's VAT to be added there, plus a shock, plus VAT on the shock, plus duty

That RAAW is by far the best looking bike I've seen for a long while

I've wanted a Sprindex for ages and I'll probably get one before summer bikepark riding kicks off.

Call me a tart but I wish they offered coloured springs. I want an Öhlins yellow one.

The stale goods £7000 bike makes the new Atherton eBike look like a relative bargain. 😀

It really irritates me when frames are priced minus the shock, I don't know why but it does.

Price it with a base shock & offer upgrades FFS.

The same goes for people selling secondhand frames without the shock 🫨

@Kimbers I think that might be a young Benji?

I had a Sprindex, it's alright but tbh the rate range was pretty small and it didn't really feel like it was made for longerm use, adjusting it soon felt pretty horrible once it'd eaten some mud. I thought I might keep it for exactly the adjustable reasons people think they'll use it for, but in the end just used it to find a good spring rate and swapped.

Still a pretty clever thing

Have a sprindex on my formula mod orange switch 6 and so far so good. Im pretty sure they are progressive as well which is useful on a single pivot like my orange.

@Northwind @Kimbers - that’s one of the staff at Nevis Range. Nice lad and handy on a bike. French guy I think?

@sharkattack I can sympathise; I don't really want to take the blood red RockShox spring off!
