I've had a cracking noise coming from the rear cassette/hub when pedalling as was advised to strip and clean the freewheel hub .
Never having done this it took me a few mins to figure it out but eventually stripped it ok. It was pretty filthy so cleaned and reassembled but now have a problem , when i clamp the wheel up in the frame it won't freewheel?Is ok with the QR undone or off the bike .

Any advice welcome!

What hub? ?Did you strip the bearings out?

Same Q as TJ

Sounds like the cone nuts might be too tight to me.

Did you strip the bearings out? There is a exploded diagram on the betd site ( I was just looking at these today for tandem use)

My guess would be bearings not seated properly of spacers in the wrong way round
