Sent flying over the bars yesterday on a nice downhill section of trail as chain went slack when I put the power down.
Picking myself up and examining the bike I thought the caseette had worked loose, turns out its a hub issue as the freehub does not grip. Took it back to the shop in the afternoon suoer angry as hub had been serviced three weeks previous- replacement bearings and general overhaul. On examination the mechanic says the spring is not griping on the pawls and cant work out why but states he did not add grease to this area or interfere with the spring.
what to do? they have tweaked the spring now so it grips but I dont trust it.
Hub replacements wont exist at Fisher until mid summer (its a WTB hub).
Anyone experienced similar? Seems stange its happened since hub service

Id maybe get a second opinion, take it to another bike mechanic and see what he has to say
