After a mild winter and 2 months of rain Mosquito are at all time highs at the moment even old garlic munching farmers are complaining we are being bitten even in the daytime so dont forget the repellent anti histamine tabs and hydro cortisone cream.

Ouch. I like the idea of a touring mosquito, though.

Just back from France and can confirm this. Southern France ok but lots of mozzies in central/northern France

I can vouch for that. Went on one ride in the woods a couple of weeks ago without Deet and got bitten to hell, each time I stopped to check directions there was an instant swarm. Truth be known I haven't been out again ๐Ÿ™ Getting quite a lot in the apartment in Paris too, anti-mosi device on every night

Don't know about France...but mozzies and nettles seem to be particularly bad this year.

Plenty of Mozzies around the woods in Leicestershire too.
Will be heading to France next week and will pack the bug spray.
