I am looking at a framepack and both Wildcat (ocelot) and Alpkit (possum) make the sort of thing I am after

Any recommendations I am not trying to knock alpkit because I know they have a superb reputation but the Wildcat seems a better built product

any thoughts ?

Have a look at Revelate too. I just bought a Pika seatpack for CX bike and its spot on. Backcountybiking in Aviemore sell them.

Revelate are good, but both the Wildcat and Alpkit versions are made in the UK ๐Ÿ™‚

Few thoughts here

my wildcat bag is excellent.

easily as good if not better than my revelate bag. Can't comment on alpkit stuff.

Used the Alpkit Stingray for my Fargo last year.
Fantastic fit, great quality. I have some Revalate products also.
Mine was waterproof although they specifically state they are not.
Would recommend the product and the company.
But, frame bags look like they have more capacity then they do in reality & you cannot remove them when you pop into the shop/pub.
I think the trick is not to take much kit in any luggage.
