To anyone wanting a respray. I've just been to see a local powder coater and have been quoted £40 to have my Gios powder coated in cobalt blue. You can't buy the aerosols for that.

I had one done some years back that was £30 for white with a laquer finish.

I paid £50 for my old road bike's frame to be done. Finish is top notch, a little thin on the edges of the luggs, but then any sprayer is going to striggle to get an even coat on a shat edge, and it's getting lined anyway. Theys eemded to mostly deal with small orders and stuff for the public, lots of car/bike wheels etc.

Seems to vary from place to place, the place that did my DMR didnt do such a good job, but was only £20. Most of its work seemd to be in doing big steelwork.

ABC enammelling in Nailsea (near Bristol) do it for £30. Great and tough finish. Bargin.
