What's the consensus on re-doing graphics on a resprayed frame? Should i seek out original brand graphics or invent something unique? Anyone got any pics of custom jobs??

I don't like most graphics, and don't understand why anyone ever bothers to try and match the originals.

I could post pictures of my bikes, one after respraying it with Hammerite from a tin, and the other as supplied (on my request) without graphics but I don't think that would help you...

sell it and get a titanium frame?...otherwise IMHO if it's probably only worth going to to the trouble of replicating the decals if a) the bike model is very meaningful to you or b)it's a retro classic e.g FAT Chance etc.

That said and done I rememember the "controversy" caused with my good riding friend by going for a well meaning S-Works Ned Overand replica look BITD of 1992, when infact my bike was only a team Stumpjumper.

So a moral might be keep simple, and maybe do not try and transcend the 'model' no matter how cool you think the look might be!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Then I'd guess you don't really care about the graphics - don't bother with 'em?

Just put them on one side and then view it from whichever side takes your fancy at the time.
