[Closed] Frame Protection - bike specific stuff or ?????

Just had a new to me frame and would like ideally to protect the whole of the top tube, as that's where most the dings occur along with other small areas where cable rub might happen. What does anyone recommend?

I got a roll of 3M paint protection film from eBay - it's a little thinner than 'copter tape and also cheaper! I treat it as a sacrificial layer and replace when it starts to wear through (cable rub etc)
