[Closed] Fox Van 36R Problem
Hi. I serviced my forks the other day, they are 2008 version, I've done it a couple of times before, and both went perfectly well. but this time, the rebound damping feels shit. As in there is no rebound at all for the initial 2" of travel.
These forks are the ones with the rubber boot thing at the bottom of the rebound unit. I'm guessing for some reason there isn't enough oil in there? I've messed with the oil levels but no effect. Is there a specific method for filling the chamber with oil and replacing the rubber tube thingy?
Even better, anybody know where I can get a service guide?
do you not mean compression? As rebound damping slows the return of the fork once its gone through whatever amount of travel required for each hit.
No, rebound, the first couple of inches of extension aren't dampened. At all. The rest of the stroke is fine. Booking it in for a service I think. Or rather re-service...
