If I let out air out of my fox triad rear shock a wihe-ish liquid squirts out , any ideas please??
its just float fluid mixed with the air you pump in amd is normal
If it's not squelching and damping's working ok, will be what Foxman says, if not it'll have blown a seal.
Triads are a bit prone to 'popping' but usually this manifests itself as a leak out the adjusters.
ok great thanks , would fluid need topping up as a result of the loss??
Shouldn't as will only be a minimal amount.
it does squelch a bit actually but seems to be running normally, although have only recently brought frame (2nd hand) so not sure if that is normal for this shock
They will quelch a bit a the very start (fully extented) as the float fluid in the air can passes through a port from the positive and negative air chambers.
You could always pop the air can off and give the seals a clean and relube, and see if there's anything a bit suspect.
If the lockoutis a bit mushy, this may indicate an issue.
Sorry it's difficult to diagnose online.
