Right then,
2006 talas 32
Not ridden the bike for a while, now the talas lever is really stiff. can only just turn it.
feels like grit / rust somewhere ?
Can I remove the talas lever ( blue 'dial') and clean underneath without a full service ? HOW
Thanks
Simon
Yes, remove air (just in case) then remove the two small bolts in the blue dial.
How often do you service them?
Not been service since last Jan ish.
The tales lever does not seem to have any bolts in, the Fox site says to release the lock nut under the blue 'dust cap ' ???
Failing that I think get them serviced, TFT ? pushed ?? worth the extra ££?
Just assumed they had bolts in cap (like 09).

...and follow insructions...
Oh and last serviced jan 09!!!!
It's probably just mud under the talas adjuster, remove air valve cap (blue one in centre of adjuster) Undo nut on air valve stem, remove adjuster carefully as to not loose the spring and ball bearing. Clean with contact cleaner or similar and tooth brush.
Grease with a little light grease and pop back together again.
I think it's the Talas 1 system not the Talas 2 system shown in the above link, by the way talas 2 is a pain in the arse to service so if anyones not sure send it to a proper suspension servicer as mistakes are going to be time consuming and possibly quite pricey
hope this helps. 😀
They do benefit from a service every year though as there's quite a lot going on inside!
Sensibly priced suspension servicing coming soon, watch this space........ 😉
