Was looking at the Flux helmet today in lbs and liked it apart from the *ahem* go faster spoiler Google showed me some pics of the new "striker" which looks similar but with more of an XC feel. Can't find anyone with one in stock - anyone know when its going to be released?

If its a long time then recommendations for something similar appreciated

cheers

MC

The stupid spoiler does come off the Flux easy enough btw. Great helmets, not perfect but the basics are spot on.

Giro Xar = Feb = £105

Personally I had to replace my Xen 4 weeks ago and bought a 661 Recon for £50 on ebay. Great helmet, great price 🙂 I am fed up with paying £80 + for a decent helmet 🙂

I got a Flux to repalce a Xen that did not fit right. OK so the spoiler is a bit MX in its styling but the helmet is great. If you have a big noggin my large Xen is sitting gathering dust after not a huge amount of use. Would accept a sensible offer 😉

I would say its pretty much on a par with my old Xen for a fraction of the price - the pads are not as thick ans so sl. less comfy however the pads do not fill up with sweat and so I much prefer the Recon to the Xen. The airflow I find is also better 🙂
