MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I have a 2014 Cube Stereo HPC 160, which i bought as frame only, without shock.
I bought a fox float CTD factory that was the correct physical dimensions but its not right.
With the static sag set correctly it runs through its travel very easily. On my local easy trails Marin Penmachnoetc its pushing the travel o ring off the shock. I have tried adding fox spacers to the air can, but it seems to make minimal difference. The shock is holding air.
The spec of the shock is as follows:
Fox float ctd boost valve factory series
ID CCX4
Velocity tune L
Rebound tune L
Boost valve tune 225
so, who can help me with how to tune this shock so it's suitable for its current use? I believe it may have come from a Yeti sb6c, but im not sure.
Im getting loads of pedal strikes, so im pretty certain that its just too soft.
thanks
Ian
Mojo, to and loco are the 3 main people. Just tech too I think.
Thanks, i will speak to them

not enough damping for your frame - send it to TFtuned and get it pushed
Push tune made my CTD very, very good. Can highly recommend it.
