Hi - Just got on a new set of 09's.. As a guide for my weight on Fox Shox website it says 45-50 psi. I want them really plush, can I go lower than that or will that damage the forks?

unles your bottoming them out regularly hard, there shouldn't be any issues, however running low pressures can cause the Talas system to not switch between travel very well.
The fork will take a while to be in and will become plusher over time and you'll be able to run more pressure.
Best to set them on the sag too.

Yes I had that problem, I ran them lower than recommended and the travel adjust would get sticky....I'd have to sort of pull them up to extend them.

Ok - Cool. Thanks for that guys. I'm thinking of running them as "soft/low" as fox recomend then seeing if they become more supple, which in experience does happen. I think bike setup is also in question as its very slack too, so my weight wont ever be really over the front end. So setting sag could be an issue - maybe.
