Servicing my fox 36 rc2 fit. Using a tftuned 36mm service kit with the skf seals.
Should the foam rings fill the whole gap between seal and fork?

They aren't as tall as the gap is, about 3-4mm short... They are the same size as the ones that came out though, so I'm sure its fine, just wanted to check, I've only serviced revelations before and remember them being more snug...

Have you soaked them in float fluid or whatever first?

Also, should I be using a proper seal press? Always used a socket and never had an issue...

There is a gap between the bottom of the seal and the top of the foam ring on my 36's.

I machined up a tool to press in the seals, but if you've got a suitable socket it should work just fine I reckon.
