just had my forks back from mojo and all the settings have been changed.
can any of you guys tell me what is the best sort of setting on these. i have set the rebound and air right but i feel loads of small bumps, im not very tech minded so need a little help
cheers
TBH - different people have different preferences and you'll probably be better setting them up to the factory settings and then working trough from that to suit you
OK, i'm gonna trust you when you say you've set the air pressure and rebound right - so with that in mind, its possible they've fiddled with the low speed and high speed compression. The low speed will basically make the fork less prone to moving around with input from you, and the high speed will affect the forks motion or ability to move from the contours of the ground. Either of these will have an effect on the forks plushness or ability to track the ground really well.
Sometimes what feels great in the car park doesnt translate well to what feels good out on the trail - so your best bet is to start with putting all the dials (compression dials) all the way over to the minus position and work from there. I think Mojo suggest you starts at minus 2 clicks from fully open on either setting though i might be wrong.
I tend to run my Van 36's all the way on the minus position on high speed and two clicks in on the low speed.
As above, need them both pretty much open, they can feel okay with more in the garage or car park etc, but one or two clicks from full open is all I can twiddle before it chokes up and feels horrible on the trail.
cheersd kwato all sorted after todays ride
