Just building up a new bike

Got fox talas 36, when I went to adjust the air I notice 1 pump would take the up about 40psi, is that normal?

Iv r/s revs on the hardtail and it takes a lot more 'pumping' to get 40psi

Also when I disconnect the pump from the fork I'm loosing all the pressure

Hope it's a problem with the pump and not the forks, it's a halfords jobbie but has worked fine on the revs, normal screw on valve, is there different fitting for shock pumps?

Cheers for any info

have you screwed it on enough to open the valve? and not just filling the space between the valve and the pump?

Ok borrowed a mates fax pump and it's fine with it!!!

Mine works on the revs and the rear shock on the new build.... Weird, but seems like I can ride the new bike in the morning ๐Ÿ™‚
