Decided to have a go changing tge oil in my fox 34 factory ctd forks.

Watched some you tube videos thought i knew what i was doing but when i drained the oil they were different colours in each leg, which I wasnt expecting.

Now im at a bit of a loss what fluid do i need in each leg and how much,

Fox in general is green 10wt oil in the lowers, red oil in the actual damper and blue float fluid in the air chamber.

Depends which forks you have, there is an open bath and a non open bath version so oil levels are different. Whats the exact fork you have.

If you're just doing a lower service the oil is for lubrication on a factory (FIT) fork.
Ensure you soak the foam rings in oil not float fluid.
The guide says 30ml of green for each leg if yours is CTD factory.

Well fox seem to have hidden the relevant info This is the best way to ID and get manuals normally
http://www.ridefox.com/help.php?m=bike&ref=topnav

The green will be the normal fluid and the blue is the float fluid for basic lubrication. You normally get a bit above and below.

There are 2 version of the CTD Fork, one is open bath and one is a sealed cart. They use different amounts of oil. The oil in the air leg is float fluid for lubrication though you can add more to change some of the characteristics.

Mojo just emailed saying i need 30ml green fluid each leg according to the id code i gave them, so will just go for that and not put any of the blue fluid in hopefully that will be ok.
