Hi all. Planning a decent ride tomorrow up and around the Dales. There is a market route on the OS map between Fountains Fell and Linton that is classified as 'other route with public access'. Does anyone know if we are allowed to cycle the track?
Linton/Litton had me confused for a second. Do you mean the one marked going through Dawson Close on the flank of FF? Legally that's a road, you can drive a 4x4 up it if you want. Or at least I thought it was, I see enough motorbikes on it.
Definitely OK to cycle.
Sorry Martin, my mistake, it's Litton. It's the one that runs over Darnbrook Fell is that's any help. My pal is planning it and I only have a screen shot for reference atm.
