Video title says $15,000, do I need to watch the video? Cause I can’t see that happening

It is 15k Canadian so thats about 8k GPB - I believe there was a thread on this very number so plenty of you lot will be considering it surely. Also Ryan F9 is a legend whatever he is reviewing.

It's weird that Ryan is now reviewing MTB's on the channel...

Cos that's the reason his previous camera guy left, and set up his own channel... Cos he wanted to make MTB content, not just motorcycle content, too... 🤔

Maybe i’m missing something, but what’s “15 million” got to do with it?

I didn't watch the whole vid, but he kept increasing the amount throughout the vid - just emphasising it's an expensive bike. Presumably he got to $15 mill by the end

His final line is that an (this) e-bike allows you to skip the first few steps of the, very steep, mtbing learning curve (fitness, grip, absorbing bumps), which he estimates is worth $15m to the right buyer, making the bike cheap at $15k.

I think it's not so much "reviewing a mtb" as "doing a feature on the state of modern ebikes that'll be interesting to other people", it's all very adjacent. Same way as a lot the motorbike stuff is very niche, but even so he has this massive viewership that maybe only ride one type of bike, or don't ride at all.

His stark varg test underwater was fun.  Think he just set a round the world record on a moto too

Not weird when you see that Fortnine sell MTB kit now

https://fortnine.ca/en/mountain-bike-gear

Like many on here I'm only dimly aware that Fortnine is a retail business when all I usually see is their weirdly great Youtube output but they still have to pay the bills somehow.

I've yet to 'get' Ryan F9, despite dipping in now and again over the years.

Saw that mtb review the other day. Still not really warmed to him if I'm honest 🤔
