I'm taking the boy up on Sunday - bit of a family tradition. Need to check on waterproofs, sun cream and smidge supplies ๐Ÿ™‚

I was up there last week, no Midges. But its warming up a bit now, so the little buggers could be back.

Heading up Friday and staying Spean Bridge as the midges in Glen Nevis were awful last year. Quite a lot of my mates and their kids going so should be excellent. Reece Wilson for the win.

After last year's road trip I'm having a year off.
We rented a Sprinter panel van and threw 3 pieces of foam in the back for me, my skin flint tight arsed biking buddy and his lad. The porta potty fell over on the way up there spilling blue poo dissolver everywhere. We camped at the cattle auction for three days with the windowless van doors shut as the midges were slightly more unbearable than the spilt toilet. Ran out of booze but didn't want to leave our primo cattle yard spot so went cold turkey. My mate made a right **** of himself kicking off when we trudged back to the van before the final rider down so we could beat the traffic only to find the van blocked in. Silence all the way home. Gonna watch it on TV this year.....
