Reba or SID? SIDs are a bit lighter but concern is they will feel a bit noodly in 29er lengths with a QR. Tempted to go with the slightly heavier Reba with a 15mm. Anyone have any experience or opinions? Thanks.

both really good forks, sids don't feel noodly. Wouldn't bother with the 15mm for a race bike personally.

I use fox RP4 F29's now on my racey bike...just super lovely and a noticeable increase in performance over the rockshox

15mm makes a big difference, well worth it - even on a race bike.
SID's are not that flexy, especially with 15mm.

Fox are a bit smoother, but need more maintenance.

Thanks, may go for the SIDs then. Though merlin do have a cracking deal on the Reba's right now. Hmmm.

I had rebas with 20mm maxle which i upgraded to SIDs with 15mm maxle. SIDs are lighter and, to me, feel like they have better damping. I really like the SIDs they have been reliable and just work for the sort of riding i do. Would recommend them over the Rebas

I have Sid XX 15mm and they feel noticebly more flexible than the F29's I had before, this is with 83kg pushing them around however.
