My son is contemplating upgrading the awful Suntour XCT forks on his Specialized Pitch. A quick search brought up the RockShox 30 Gold RL Solo Air Forks, which meet the basic criteria of budget, straight steerer and quick release. Has anybody had experience with these forks and are they a worthy upgrade? Are there any other forks we should be considering?
