Hello all,
Following my recenjt thread about my Pikes and the facy that the MOCO lower seal had gone and caused "hydrolock" I managed to get a MOCO rebuild kit for about £12...

I know I need 120cc of 5w oil for the MOCO damper unit and 15cc of 15w in each of the lower legs.

My question is wether in the lower legs I can use non-synthetic (mineral) oil in the lower legs? I have found 5w synthetic fork oil for the MOCO unit and the same place sells 15w fork oil but it's not the synthetic type.... will this be suitable?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it'll be fine.
I've used the 5w before and it works just as well too.

Assuming you're talking about TF, ask for some of their 'lower mix'.
