I have seen the spec of a few new bikes coming through with either Revelation forks with charger damper or Yari forks with the charger damper . I thought that a Lyric was a Yari with the charger damper and the Pike was a revelation with the charger damper . Why are bike manufacturers not just speccing Lyrics or Pikes ?

It's not the same charger damper as in the Pike/Lyric. It's better than the motion control damper found in the revelation/yari but not as good as the full charger 2 (2.1) damper in the pike/Lyric, which in turn isn't as good as the RC2 damper found in the top end models.
