If I was going to the Forest of Dean, where should I stay, or doesn't it matter?
Anywhere they are not playing "dualling banjo's", squel little piggy, squel
The Fountain Inn at Parkend has a bunkhouse and bnb
The other end of the scale try Speech House Hotel.
I'd always thought that was Georgia? And I'll be on a bike, not a canoe.
I've seen dual banjo's and heard duelling banjo's, never heard a pig sqeul though..

๐ก go pick up a piglet ๐ก
What sort of accommodation you looking for? Camping, B&B, Inn, Hotel, Bunk House? How many for? [s]And is it an all lady party? [/s] Oops, sorry, too many questions; got carried away there... ๐
Self-catering, about 6 of us. All male sadly ๐
The bunkhouse at the Fountain Inn, Parkend as suggested by Tollah and on thefod website above is as good as anywhere. Reasonable cost, good food and beer at the adjoining pub and dead handy for some of the best trails in the Forest.
Psling, there are no good trails in the forest you know that!! And if you were to follow a 'local' you'll only get lost anyhow!
