Do I
a) Do it on a proper bike [img]
[/img] and try and do a sensible time?
b) ****t around again on the full susser and see if I can get under evens?
Best 10 this year on the full susser has been 28:37, only 9:09 behind the winner 😆
It's nice to see pictures of an Omega. I have a Radius hanging up in my garage, still my favourite bike.

I know three other local guys who ride Stealths and because I like Ti so much, I recently brought an Enigma Etape as a winter frame.

My best 25 time is 54:52 but that was an exceptional evening and one I've never got close to again.
When I unloaded the Spesh at the HQ last year one of the other competitors thinking I was a MBTer, suggested I'd go faster with slick tyres etc etc. I said if I wanted to do a quick time I'd have brought the TT wagon instead. I also beat him by over two minutes......
Why not use the TT bike? Thats what its there for. Or are you scared about not putting in as good a time as you think you would?

I KNOW I'm going to put in a pants time as I've done burgger all racing this year. Tis more do I make this an annual bit of silliness and 'waste' the £8 entry fee.
On a vaguely more serious note, riding at full chat on a full suss does wonders for your souplesse and enforcing a smooth pedalling style. I'd recommend it to all roadies every now and then.
WE're in the proccess of getting CTT affiliation. I might be tempted back into TT, but the only event I enjoyed were 25 and 50 2 up TT's
I'd go for it on the TT bike, you never know, you may suprise yourself.
Try it on a singlespeed, geared just a bit too low. That'd be a challenge.
I'd have thought you should be able to do better on full suss.

I value my knees thank you 😆 and besides I don't subscribe to the trendy fixie/SS school of bikery
I enjoy a good 3-way myself.
