A question for the locals, what are the conditions like at the moment, has it been dry enough for the off-piste unsurfaced trails to dry out? Thanks!

Very dry... apart from the bottom of GBU, Mr Rooty just by the Fire-Road... it's all dry and smooth. Rubber Duck area sweet, Dowies, sweet...

No idea about the cycle centre, as I never go there, but everywhere else is probably as good as it gets at the moment 🙂

Maybe a bit of rain later this week, but it’s been dry for about 2/3 weeks now so should be fine the next day.

The bit towards Monmouth that we don't talk about was in great shape on Saturday. Didn't even need to get changed to drive home. Some logging happening, so ride it while you can! Old Red is already gone, and judging from the notices pinned up I don't think Billy's or Rusty Cable have much time left.

I've done both sides of the river (biblins bridge) so Doward and Staunton. Logging on Doward side is done and only a couple of trails gone. The steep stuff is running fine if a little leafy! Staunton side is as good as it gets anytime of year, never mind feb. Two long rides, hardly any mud. Looks like some rain this week but should be fine unless it's a deluge.

If you know the trails, Widowmaker has a new fab top section. Go past old start and about 50 yards on your right is the new one. Rode Bunker Sunday and while the rocks were a little mossy/greasy it was great. I'm not brave enough to ride that when it's properly wet so I don't think I've ever ridden it in feb before!

Friends rode dowies this weekend and said that was bone dry as well.

I can't right now for various reasons - is pretty disappointing.
