Thinking of doing a trip down for a night ride to make a change from the Malverns.
Obviously would watch out for the boars and axe-wielding locals 😉
Does the normal (Pedalaway) car park stay open or would we have to park elsewhere?
Think the normal CP closes unless they're doing late riding (Thursdays I think)...
think the CP closes at 8/9 but you can park in front of the depot all night as there is no gate. Its great fun, seeing all those eyes shining back...is it boar, is it deer, is it a zindafud local?....
Car park gets locked at 630 currently. They WILL lock you in, but you can park outside the barrier. FOD is great at night. Worth going up on a Thursday as they open later and think there is organised group rides. Old Enduro trail is great at night in my opinion

Went down last night and had a cracking ride.
Huge family of boar near the top that was a bit unnerving when the lights hit their eyes - must've been about 30 of them 😯
Did Launchpad a few times as we wanted to do some jumps - the run from top to bottom is brilliant fun 😀
Great isn't it. Went loads for a while when the verderers opened and had stags, boar and owls joining me at various times. The adrenalin from finishing a trail you know well, at full chat, lasts the full drive home after!
