Just acquired a great pre war wooden box that housed a compass and want to make it into a store box for my bearing presses and drifts. So need some foam like in Pelicases. What do you lot recommend? Think "toolbox wars"

Shadow foam easy peel……

And an exceptionally sharp scalpel with lots of spare blades...

If your orders over a certain value they send you a scalpel and blades.

I’ve 5 drawers in my tool chest done with Shadow foam, took about 12hrs but well worth it.

I have shadow foam in mine (original, not easy peel as stock was limited). It’s great, but a bit of a long PITA if you have lots of drawers/tools to cut out.

It's bearing presses and drifts...

Put them in box... Shut box.

Find something more worthwhile to do?

😀

What Josh said 🤣

Seriously, why bother?

I have to be paid to spend time picking foam out to put cameras and equipment in peli cases for flights, I would rather stub my little toe on the coffee table, or better yet go for a ride than spend money and a day organising a toolbox that rarely moves full of unbreakable tools 🤣

Kaizen foam/shadow foam.

Its glued in layers, so you can set the right depth.

I'm undecided with the foam, its good for keeping everything organized, buts its incredibly inefficient space wise, especially for allen keys.
