I've replaced the seals on my Epics Float R shock, but I can't get it to screw back together. I've tried holding it down on the floor and screwing it up but can't get it down far enough to get the first screw. Anyone have any tips?

rebound on full, back on the frame, use the swing arm as a lever

Ah, now there is an idea. Does the length of the shocks internal structure won't get any shorter, it's the negative side of the air chamber which makes compressing the shock so hard.

Waht rob said. Just mount shock back in the frame, wheels on and just push down on saddle.

Shock now back on the bike. I had to jack the shock shut first though, it's an epic with not a lot of room at the mount point. thanks for the help.
