Any recommendations?
Probably looking for something around 780mm wide with minimal rise. I'm not a fan of the shape of the Specialized bars that came with my bike - they feel like they have too much upsweep for my preference, but I've no idea what to try as a replacement.
Thomson trail, 780, 10mm rise I find them super coming from a flat bar.
Rotate the bars back, and the controls forward again.
Hey presto: less of the troublesome upsweep, more of the comfy backsweep. Same amount of the money.
Spank vibrocores
+1 for spank vibrocores. It's not just hype either - noticeably less fatigue.
I tried some Vibrocore bars out the other day. I though blimey, this is like having 5psi less in the fron tyre.......shortly after I rolled the tyre and landed on my face. Turned out I had a bloody puncture!
Need to try again, but I find the shape good and they were cheap.

Or gamble your money on the recommendations of internet strangers who have spent money on stuff that they need to justify.

Rotating the bars doesn't work for me, because then they have too much backsweep. I'm not worried about gambling the price of a pair of bars.
In case you don't get my Email I might be selling my Spank Oozy's with Vibrocore to get the Spikes instead because I think I need a rise .
Didn't get any email. What rise (seems like the come in 5, 15 or 30mm) & colour are the Oozys you are selling?
