Has anyone had any luck sewing a UST sidewall (sharp welsh flint) and using it tubeless again?

the split was about 25mm long so i have sewed it with dental floss on TJs recomendations as it doesn't stretch and is longer lasting.
Will patch on the inside i think

Is it worth risking a failure at speed? Buy a new tyre and deal with it.

nothing that big but I would be preparing the inner surface, stitching as you have done then patching.
If it holds air then ride it and keep an eye on it.
