I'd wash that water bottle out before using it again

Look at you with your bench vice, la de da. Is battering it in with two house bricks not the approved method anymore?

I think that bottom bracket's going to drop off as soon as you turn that non-driveside crank.

The mallet seems a bit surplus to requirements there!

Probably easier if you'd just removed the wheels and put the frame into the vice on the bench.

No worries, those are my headset tools. I've got a proper one but I stopped using it years ago.

That's my portable vice, it's just a little 'un and it's pretty handy sometimes as a sort of mega g-clamp- doesn't twist and easier to get square, and can put on a lot more force if you want to really mash stuff. Albeit a little heavy ๐Ÿ™‚ Trick I got from my grandad, they used it to bodge something in the landing gear of beauforts IIRC.

They'll be 50% off next week.

As a bash guard it's probably a bit OTT and it'll be a bit of a drag on the climbs. But in your case it's probably better to be safe than sorry.
