My 5010 (v1) still has the original fox CTD on it which I’ve never really got on with. What is a good replacement and what rebound/compression tune works best with them? I’m a heavy’ish, agressive’ish rider rather than a pootler (I use a different bike for pootling). Thanks.

I’ve a cane creek DB ILair on mine, got it from TF tuned, so they set it up for me/the bike. Definitely prefer it to the CTD, seems to hold up in the travel much better.

I have a mk1 with the original shock push tuned by tft, it's night and day better than the original shock setup. A lot cheaper than a new shock as well.

I'm simply entertained by the notion that a 5010 can be "old" 😁

6/7 years and 2 new models since? I’d say it qualifies.
