I'm thinking I might head over to Fort William next weekend for the national DH and I'm looking for some pointers from anyone that's been.

Is there normally enough space to park at the hill or do you need to leave the car in town and find your own way there?

Also is there a charge for going like the world cup?

Any other pointers welcome and no I won't be watching the coronation before anyone brings it up!

I honestly don't know on parking. It states parking is free but doesn't say if it's a competitor only area.
Won't be charges for viewing though.

Lots and lots of top Pro racers there this weekend. Excited

Just need the lad to finish his day at BPW without incident

Cheers for the reply,

Plans may have already changed as my dad's went downhill rapidly today so I'll need to stay close by.

Good luck at the weekend to Weeksy Jr though!

Coming in here to add an update on parking but see the post from @daviek above. Bloody hell, wishing you all the best and hope it's not as bad as that sounds.

If you do make it to the SDA/BDS - there's an update on the Nevis Range Facebook saying there's a Park and Ride and urging spectators to use it.

"To access the Park and Ride service, all you need to do is park your vehicle at the Auction Mart and catch a ride to Nevis Range. It's quick, easy, and most importantly, it helps us to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all spectators."

Depending on exactly what they’ve got setup, you might be better just walking the distance. It’s not far at all (you have to walk it at World Cups)

I've just picked up a case of Moretti if anyone walks it. 🙂

You don't get them ALL 😀

Feel free to come see us though, we'll have a blue Transit and red Gazebo.

Just in case it hasn’t (understandably) come to mind yet - pack every kind of midge defeating device you can think of. Ft Bill car park can be absolutely hellish - probably my worst midge experience was up there at a spring/summer race. Hopefully not needed, but worth having just in case
