Im looking for my first full suspension bike to purchase through cycle scheme with a max of £1000 anyone know of any good shops or online retailers that are doing the scheme with decent bikes for sale? i live in kent.
Ive looked at alot so far, some sale bikes and new 2012 models
Ive got my eye on trek fuel, lapierre x control, giant bikes etc
Any help would be great, i want to get the most out of my voucher.
Thanx
If you've only a grand, better to go for a HT - sorry.

This, unfortunately.
A couple of years ago, you could get some really good FS bikes for £1000. Alas, times have moved on, i'm afraid. You'll get something much more usable for that price if you buy a HT, in my humble opinion.
My mate got a reduced 2011 Specialized Camber for £1000 from Evans. It has served him well so far. Definitely worth checking out reduced deals. Paul's Cycles is worth a try too and they do Cyclescheme.
If you don't mind buying from Halfords, the Boardman Team FS is meant to be pretty impressive for the price.
You could also try getting a discounted 2010 or 2011 bike from somewhere like Paul's Cycles, like this 2011 Giant Anthem X5 at £899.
Or, as BR has suggested, just get a decent HT instead.
as above, id say at that price hardtail will be much better.
just my opinion, yours may differ.
