and having to be nearby before that in case a mercy dash to hospital was required, today was my first proper outing for nearly 2 months.
A lovely autumnal day at Innerleithen with some mates from work, great to be back on the trails, took a wee while to get my rhythm back but by the end I was nearly there. One of the lads lives in the town and shared some previously unknown trails, Fitness was nowhere near as bad as I'd feared and ended the day with a massive grin on my normally dour face.
The point of this? I'm a proud new dad, my wife is amazing(especially for understanding the biking thing) and I'm delighted to be back in the saddle again....Thank you

[list]Good, isn't it. Riding and parenthood, that is.
Cracking picture. Was wondering what the wires were! ๐
I remember riding loads after number 1 son, then number 2 turned up 18 months later and I didn't ride (other than commuting) for a couple of years. Mine lads are 3 & 4 now and it's getting easier and easier to make time to ride.
