Tried out the new GoPro 960 last weekend and as was always going to happen, had a big off while a friend was filming me!

Think I need to play around with the angle a little but pretty pleased for a first attempt. The strap was quite loose on the freeride section vid and is noticeably less wobbly when tightened up after that.

Would welcome input on the crash - usually know what has happened but on that one I just remember seeing the wheels facing the sky and that was it - almost looks as if the rear suspension bottomed out and catapulted me off but unsure exactly what went wrong!

They're all available in 720P.

Ello, what's going on on the left hand side at 0:58? New trail?

Trail centres are so dull though aren't they? ๐Ÿ˜‰

The first vid is part of the end of the XC trail - the flat part which is very quick if you go for it, and the second vid with the crash is the entire downhill course, with a fair bit of mincing going on ๐Ÿ˜‰

if it makes you feel any better that is the exact spot i crashed and i dislocated my shoulder on that run, it'd be interesting if the tree root i hit still bears the scar.

Plenty of mincing on the DH after that crash! To be fair, I hadn't ever ridden it before and as the scars attest, I probably should have had some more padding to compensate for the lack of talent!

First time at Cwmcarn and loved it - did the XC loop first, then climbed up to do the DH and then did the XC loop again.

Very tiring but great fun.

I'd imagine the HT doesn't help, but I just ended up doing it REALLY tight and it helped a lot - I think the last vid up there was quite loosely fitted and it definitely has more wobble than the other two. I was actually aware of the camera moving about on impacts whereas when it was really tight I didn't notice it at all.
