Well, actually I feel like my lungs are trying to escape my body via my mouth and my legs feel like burning jelly, but I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself nonetheless.
I started training this month for a trans-Alp and decided to start timing myself on my training loop to give me an incentive to push harder. My times were dropping pretty consistently but I hadn't managed to break the 40-minute barrier...until today. I was doubly surprised when I looked at my stopwatch as there were some pretty horrible headwinds today so I thought I'd be a bit slower.
No particular point - just had a good ride and thought I'd share.
