Afternoon Gentlemen

I'm in the middle of building my first fat bike (OO Fatty) and this is also my first experience with Sram GXP cranks. I have x5 100mm cranks but the axle seems too long for the BB shell. There is a gap between the inside crank face and the BB face on the drive side, pics below. Is this normal for these cranks or is something wrong?

Thanks

Nope, they all seem to do that, even factory assembled. Pop a few o rings or a thick zip tie in there to keep the seal in place.

Cheers Johnny. Put my mind at ease.

Just looks wrong having come from years of Shimano cranks that pull up to the BB face.
