Looking for some nice looking mudguards for a ti road bike. Requirements:
minimalist, silver or grey, fairly lightweight.

Best I have seen so far are these from brick lane bikes, but they are too shiny:

Any suggestions?

OH god why would you murder a tripster like that!

That poor bike.

Get it some 3ml of ENVE drops, a carbon 1x chainset and a normal stem STAT!

They're not you know. However much you pay, and however pretty you think they are, they're still MUDGUARDS! Horrid ugly things. 👿

Not my bike anymore, and i fitted the jones bars as i broke my back (twice), had two vertebrae removed and the rest fused so fitting into drops was impossible 😉

If you think the bike is ugly then you should have seen what the ensemble of bike & rider looked like, small children used to throw up and their bowels used to evacuate as i rode past

I have the Swarf carbon mudguards on one of my winter bikes. Frankly, if I was to do it again I'd get a set of PDWs. The pfaff in fitting took mudguard-pfaffary to whole new heights. Hint: they don't come with ANY holes drilled for fittings, and the fittings make SKS look like jewellery not nuts and bolts.

They work though and look nicely carbon, in a carbon kind of way.

Seriously, PDW FTW!

Curana C Lites for looks??? I have a set of Bontrager which are ok (ish) looks wise but are very good at keeping you dry when commuting

They look shit, especially considering the price. I got some Radial alloy ones for about seventeen quid that are loads tidier. Don't give enough coverage though. PDWs are ok. Those Velo Orange are probably better but will be quite heavy I reckon. I replaced the radial ones with some M part ones and they cover far better!

The Radial alloy ones were very stiff though (if a bit heavy). Completely rattle free.

looked at the PDW offerings in condor today, I have 28mm tyres so need the wide ones, and they look really wide. Any more ideas? Radial look good but out of stock, and wrong colour!

Not half as ugly as the emulsified dog shit speckled face of an anti-mudguard aesthete though. 🙂

Remember, never lick your lips when riding... 🙂

I had some GB ones on a commuting bike once, didn’t get on with them, has to cut them down to fit and they were a bit rattly
